Collaborative project 3: Developing the Backpack Buddies brochure
This week's collaborative project assignment is to lay out plans, needs, and a timetable for completion of the Backpack Buddies Ministry brochure update. And to get the work well under way.
Key tasks include:
- Planning the team's timetable and work assignments
- Making decisions on brochure design and content (disregard matters of cost, for the moment)
- Requesting materials or information you would like to include in the brochure (photographs, quotes, data, history, contact info, etc.). Email these requests to chip.rogers@mga.edu, and I will respond as quickly as I can.
- Constructing a roughed-out basic draft of the planned brochure: include text or material that you develop or have in hand--for materials not yet acquired, block out where they might go in the document once you have them.
- Have at least one session to review the work in its most advanced "rough-draft" state.
- Share your working design for the brochure in one document posted to the CP3 dropbox; separately in the same dropbox, submit a progress report, indicating the work you have done on the project thus far--and most importantly, noting what you have still to do in completing the document and your ideal timeline for the final steps to completion.
