Collaborative project 3: Brochure

The assignment:

The English Department has an emergency request: we need, post-haste, brochures to help promote two of our most vital programs, the Minor in Professional Writing and the Writing Center. We need quality work, because we aim to share these items at an Open House event week after next: we will include both brochures among materials we share with prospective applicants (and their parents), and also newly admitted students who will matriculate in summer or fall.

Both brochures should be bi-fold, meaning they are one sheet of paper folded into thirds, with print on both sides. We leave it up to you which program you can help promote with the brochure, and we also leave all design considerations up to you, the students of PFWR 3170. But we do need to know by Tuesday, April 10th at 1:45 p.m. which program you can help promote--either the Writing Center or the Professional Writing Minor.

Naturally, recognizing that you are promising professional writers, we leave to you all the details of how you go about producing the brochure you undertake to compose for us. All we need to know is a) which brochure you can compose for us, and b) your assurance that we will receive your finished product by 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17th.

Please inform our Coordinator of English Programs, Dr. Chip Rogers, in person or via email before 1:45 p.m. on April 10th, which of these projects you would like to take on. And please submit the final product to the Collaborative Project 3 dropbox in D2L before the hard and fast deadline.

We genuinely appreciate your professionalism, and we thank you for your willingness to help MGA put its best foot forward at the upcoming Open House!

Once we have received your finished product and have it printed, you can rest assured that our check will then be in the mail. :-)
